Haven - Vacation Rental App
This was an app that I created the concept for as part of an online UI Design course. The purpose was to create not just the user experience, but to also consider aspects such as the style guide, iconography, and prototyping. I chose to create a site for a vacation rental app, with the idea of creating something that is simple, easy to use, and efficient.
Style Guide
For the style and branding, I created a set of custom iconography, and chose a color suite that complimented and contrasted enough to create interest. I also thought through the use of hierarchy with font variations and color usage. I wanted to be sure it’s easy to tell different sections apart with a quick look.
I also created a logo, that emanates the feel of finding a high quality place to stay as a temporary home.
